Candace Steiding

Administrator

Candace Steiding is our Administrator. Candy grew up in upstate New York near the Saratoga/Glens Falls area and attended college in Burlington, Vermont. She lived in Shelburne, Vermont prior to moving to Florida to be closer to her mother in 1999. She was previously Vice President of Operations for a multi-state medical group and has worked in the medical management field throughout most of her career. She joined Dr. Dunn in April of 2000.

Candy lives in Nokomis with her husband Marvin and their teenage son Eric. In her free time she enjoys traveling with her family. She often travels to the Stuart, Florida or the out islands of the Bahamas (Abacos) where she and her husband have a charter boat and business called Reel Candy Sport Fishing, which offers sport fishing, island hopping, snorkeling/lobstering trips and sunset cruises.

Locally she has been a member of The Venice Yacht Club and worked with the Republican Sheriff’s campaign as a campaign treasurer. She has also been involved in helping the Bahamians with their commitment to ensuring that they can provide for their local community. She works with the Bahamian Department of Tourism on programs such as Every Child Counts, which assures that all children get an education, and Friends of the Environment which works to keep the islands clean and well preserved.

Jessica Fleming

Administrative Assistant

Jessica Fleming is our Administrative Assistant. She was born and raised here in Sarasota, Florida. She is currently furthering her education at State College of Florida. She has a daughter named Miranda who was born in 2006. In her spare time Jessica enjoys reading, being outside, shopping and spending time with her family. She has been with Dr. Dunn since 2005.

Barbara Porro

Billing Manager

Barbara Porro is our Billing Manager. Barbara is originally from Massachusetts. Before her career as a medical billing specialist, she worked as a pediatric nurse, and owned a manufacturing and decorating studio as well as several retail specialty toy stores. In 2005 she decided to combine her love of business with her medical background and became certified in medical coding and billing. She is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders. Barbara moved to Florida in 2005 and currently resides in Bradenton with her husband Frank and has two adult sons. She is active in her church community and enjoys encouraging and teaching women to develop their gifts and full potential.
